At Holly’s Funerals, we have a different approach to most traditional funeral directors.

Most importantly, we come from a place of true love and compassion. We have chosen to follow this path so that we can help people during one of their most difficult times. We are honest, genuine and authentic people who have only your best interests at heart.

We don’t make any assumptions about you and the kind of support that might be best for you. We listen to your thoughts, your wishes and your concerns and help you in any way that we can. We will never try to sell you a set funeral package.

We will advise you of all your rights and options and allow you adequate time to reflect on the information. We will never rush you into making a quick decision. We will always give you time to think and time to ask any questions you may have.

We will work with you to achieve the most fitting funeral for you and for the person who has died, whatever that may be. We embrace ceremony in all aspects of our work, we encourage and actively support family participation and we allow time and space to enable a meaningful farewell.

We help families focus on the softer, intangible elements that can make a funeral truly beautiful. Some of the loveliest funerals we’ve helped organise have been simple home or garden services followed by a direct cremation. To find out more click here.

We treat all our guests with the utmost care and respect. We hold ceremony and honour their life whilst they are in our care. We wash and dress them in our beautiful Serenity Room and support family and friends to come and spend time with them and help in the preparations if they wish to.

Honesty and integrity are at the core of everything we do. We are clear & honest with our pricing. We charge a fee for our professional services & do not make additional profit on disbursements including essential funeral products such as coffins, flowers, headstones etc. All of our prices are published clearly on this website.

We don’t have fleets of shiny black cars, we don’t wear morbid funereal uniforms and we don’t offer insincere platitudes. We wear what you want us to wear and we can hire specialist cars inexpensively if required.

Where possible, we support natural and environmentally friendly practices and processes. We do not support embalming (for many reasons – click here) but mainly because it is a horribly invasive process which uses harmful chemicals.
